GSL - Albert Cassar Info To Be Added
Name: Carmen Muscat Section: Pack Rank: AGSL/Akela Bio: My scouting experience started as a Brownie and remained in the movement till the age of 17 as a Ranger. I then started in the Scouting Movement in 1993. At the moment I am a Cub Scout Leader and a wood badge holder. I like adventure, corresponding, swimming, reading and outdoor life. I believe that learning is an asset no matter what the age is, therefore I am doing the Discovery Award and at the time being I am working on the Silver Award. I also organise Ladies’ Hikes once a month and have managed to motivate women to add a little adventure to their normal routine. On these hikes we include mapping & orienteering, and history. Scouting has helped me in communication skills, entertainment, and to help adults and children to discover how to use their spare time out in the open. What really scares you? If you had the chance to swap lives with someone, who would it be? Who would you desperately love to have dinner with? What is your greatest accomplishment to date? Who is your closest friend at Scouts? Why?
Name: Maria Grech Section: Pack Rank: Chil Bio: I joined the St Julian’s Scouts Group over two and a half years ago. At first I was only there as an auxiliary to help out during hikes but as time went by I started attending the cub meetings every week and now I have finally decided to get invested as I love being with the kids so much and also made so much friends during camps. I enjoy hiking and camps which although means days away from my family they are ways for me to change my daily routine. I would like to someday overcome my fear of heights by going abseiling, though I have to pluck up all my courage to do it.
Name: Sera Dalli
Section: Troop Section
Bio:
I have recently joined Scouts in 2009 as a leader with the Troop Section. I have always wanted to be a member of the Scouts Movement. I work in a family run business as a personal assistant but when there is need, I also help our technicians outside the office. In my free time I like to read, write, paint, camping, abseiling, swimming and socializing.
